| Enfield's archaeologists have spent the last fortnight digging up a lost Tudor palace, and this Saturday only, they're opening the trenches to the public. Across town, a shopping piazza fills with roaming dinosaurs and a churchyard fills with snail racing and a very serious tug of war. Mostly dry, warm enough for all of it, and a proper mixed bag.
